Is your brand striving to surpass the competition? Wondering where to focus your marketing efforts? Join us for our monthly luncheon, Tuesday, November 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. You’ll take away fresh ideas to differentiate your brand and be heard by your audience.
Ted Burton, executive vice president, EnviroMedia, has been working in environmental and cause marketing since before it was cool to be green. Ted will share his experience in identifying a niche in any industry and using communication to differentiate in a crowded marketplace. He will bring examples of comprehensive marketing campaigns that include everything from public relations, community relations, marketing, advertising and social media.
About EnviroMedia:
Fifteen years ago, EnviroMedia was one of the first to take a different approach on the traditional marketing agency, one built on the passionate belief that doing the right thing isn’t just the right thing, but a powerful business advantage. Considered a leader in authentic green marketing and behavior-changing social marketing campaigns that improve the environment and public health; EnviroMedia has produced hundreds of environmental marketing campaigns for corporate, government and not-for-profit clients. The agency created the Greenwashing Index and the Leanwashing Index – the world’s first online forums that allow consumers to post and rate the authenticity of advertisements.
Ted Burton serves as Executive Vice President at EnviroMedia, responsible for managing public relations and advertising campaigns for clients such as the Texas Department of Transportation, Texas Department of State Health Services, Green Mountain Energy, Car2Go, Dell, America Recycles and the Texas Education Agency. Ted has been with EnviroMedia for almost 12 years. Prior to joining the agency, he served as the director of public relations for Capital Metro. Ted was born and raised in Austin, graduated from the University of Texas and spent 10 years working in TV news.
